Coaching is an unregulated industry, Anyone may use the title coach, and there is no global or national regulatory body empowered to determine who is appropriately qualified to coach. Indeed, less than half the estimated coaches in the world belong to representative coaching bodies. This means that potential clients should be prepared to explore the qualifications, skills and experience of potential coaches.
AGAPE aims to set a National Coaching Standard. We are under no illusion that when a person seeks the help from another, the client is likely to be in a state of vulnerability. They are after all seeking help due to a lacking.
This is why all AGAPE coaches are held to a higher standard than any other accredited coach in Australia.
